Preacher is the first single from Lucas Biespiel and his Dangerous Gentlemen's upcoming debut, "Stories of Your Sorrows" out this October. It tells the story of a holy man who lost his son years ago, and his quest to bring joy into the lives of others. The track is electric and energetic to the fullest meaning of the words, and is just a glimpse at what these talented young gentlemen have planned. Prepare yourself.

Track Name: Preacher
He walks home in the rain.

A shadow follows closely by and stalks, he goes

In and out of his pain.

Make pretend that ignoring it will send it all away.

He had a boy in the war.

Left behind to kill a little more, and it

Wore him down to his core.

A sleepless man, a preacher from before and he

Tells you tales from the bible.

He knows them all by heart.

But spirits can’t change the past, and he knows

Pain can’t be fought.

I’m in love with a black-faced man and the horse he rode

‘Cause I love dwelling on my pain.

I’m just sitting right here.

He’s just sitting right here.

Sleepless nights on the road.

He makes time to think it all through, then he

Cries out like a crow.

A selfish imitation of hello.

And I listen to him.

He’s with me all the time.

I can always whistle for him.

He’s like a devil in the sky.

“Someone’s gonna save me when I’m gone,” I heard him say.

Someone’s gonna save me when I’m gone.

“Whisper to the heavens and they’ll save you when you say it.

Just like they saved my only son.”
